• Custom Designs: First Impression offers unlimited custom security door designs. Customers can select from the wide variety of designs available in our sales catalog or they can request a totally new and unique custom design to match their tastes and special interests. We set no limits on our customers and actually encourage them to be creative.
• Standard Features: First Impression security/screen doors have an impressive list of standard features, including:

  • Custom measured and built to fit each door opening.
  • 16-gauge steel frame with one-way lag screws for the strongest and most secure installation. An independent steel frame is essential to avoid service and repair issues later resulting from house settling, humidity levels, etc.
  • Heavy 16-gauge steel door frame and 12-gauge custom artwork .
  • Aluminum Z-Bar Weather-Stripping (felt weather stripping is necessary in the
    extreme Arizona heat).
  • Expander bar with double rubber sweep to keep the bugs out.
  • Double-cylinder tamperproof lock available in polished brass, antique brass, satin nickel
    or dark nickel finishes.
  • Removable insect screens.
  • Hidden Vault Pins and one-way screws on hinges.
  • Automatic door closer and wind chain (if needed).
  • Powder coated finish to protect the service life of the door. Over 50 standard
    colors in stock.
  • Wreath peg.

• French and Arcadia Doors:
  • French Doors: First Impression installs many French security/screen doors on the
    front and back of homes. We install integral slide bolts on our French doors
    allowing full access with both doors open.
  • Arcadia Doors: Many customers do not realize that security/screen doors
    can be installed over existing patio (arcadia) sliding glass doors to add security
    and to permanently remove the annoying sliding screens which are constant
    problems. The price of these doors is approximately twice the cost of single doors.

• Optional Features: There are many optional features available with any security
  door for very reasonable prices, including:
  • Sunscreens instead of bug screens. Sunscreens are stronger than bug screens,
    offer more privacy and come in black, brown, gray, desert sand and beige.
  • Steel mesh screens powder coated to match the chosen door color,
    adding strength for pets and extra tough usage.
  • Glass panels with powder coated frames to match the door color and heavy
    rubber backing to limit noise and provide a better seal during extreme cold or
    hot weather.
  • Pet doors with rubber flap for pet exits .
  • Pet guards to protect the bottom screen from being destroyed.
  • Custom powder coat colors if customer requests a color other than one of the
    50 colors stocked.
