The First Impression family was born in a Mesa garage in 1995. The Reese family hired a couple of people to help them and worked for three years to forge ahead with their ambition to create a successful company from those humble beginnings.

It paid off and the Schneider family stepped in to take over in 1998, purchasing a building near our current Gilbert location to house the growing company. They could not have imagined that seventeen years later, that the Cornelius Family would have grown the First Impression team to 168 employees, have 5 showrooms and inhabit more than 50,000 square feet of office and factory space!

When Tim, Bamie and Clint Cornelius family purchased the business from the Schneiders in 2002 it was with a lot of excitement and a vision for the future. We vowed then to provide the highest quality ornamental iron products available in the country and we have never lost sight of that core value. Additionally, we wanted to make sure that we treated people fairly and strove to provide flawless customer satisfaction, which we have proven to do year after year with our many industry awards and consistent A+ BBB rating.
