Ever wonder what goes into creating your custom iron product, or who is taking it across the finish line? First Impression Ironworks is proud to have a team full of some of the most talented and interesting people we know, and we wouldn’t be where we are today if it weren’t for two of our Fabrication Department team members, Brandon and Wyatt.

Brandon has been a team member for about four years now, and Wyatt, for about one, and while the two know a thing or two – or 10 – about tinkering around with metal and machinery, they also know how to make the most of the time available to them. As part of their work as members of the pit crew team for Interstate Batteries’ NASCAR team, Brandon and Wyatt have to swap out tires, make adjustments and get racecars back on the track within three minutes or less while prioritizing safety every step of the way. Though they’re not held to quite as tight a timeline in their work at First Impressions, they still dedicate the same degree of attention to each project they take on, taking care to create pieces that draw the eye, strike a chord and enhance the aesthetics of the space around them.

The auto-racing season runs annually from March through November, so whether they’re awaiting their next racer or fabricating their next custom iron product, you can count on these two adrenaline junkies going the distance. f the best, most interesting people we know!
